How Do You Value Your Time?
Those of you employed have the value of your time determined by mutual agreement. My wife and I are full time ranchers and it is a sore spot for me that we work for free everyday. Not only are we not being paid, we are responsible for paying all of our many daily expenses. It is not cheap to ranch. Supplies, parts, fuel, feed, repair materials as well as new project materials, all cost money. Of course we do have ranch income when we sell calves, seedstock cattle, and hay. The paydays are far apart, thus it seems like we are working for free.

5 yr old registered Angus bull for sale
5 year old registered Angus bull for sale – $3,000. This is an easy keeper, easy going, fertile Angus bull. We are keeping his offspring, thus he has to go. His 2017 breeding season is over as of 10/3/2017. We will bring him home for easy viewing and loading.

I just posted new current pictures of Big Boy and Magnum. They are two of our herd bulls that we will be selling at the end of this 2017 breeding season (Oct 1st). The pictures are on our Brahman cattle for sale page.
Hurricane Harvey
Hurricane Harvey came ashore last night in Rockport, TX. We especially hope the Tonya’s boyfriend, Kevin’s new barndominium survived. We are getting just the perfect rain today from Harvey.

Hay
Our 3rd hay cutting will be in about 2 weeks, Sept 6, 2017. Our fields look great! Just the right amount of rain at just the right times.
